Paleo almond fudge brownies

Almond Fudge Brownies
My friend made these brownies the other day for a coaches meeting at crossfit. They were gone in about 2 minutes and they were unbelievable. I talked about them for days to my husband until he finally requested that I make him some. We competed in a crossfit competition yesterday, so as a treat after the event I made them. I even shared a couple with my neighbor, paleolithicMD, and he agreed that they are one of the best things he has ever eaten. They come from the Make it Paleo cookbook.
You will need:
1 cup coconut oil,
1 cup pure maple syrup,
5 oz bittersweet baking chocolate,
1 cup pure cocoa powder,
4 eggs,
1 tsp salt,
1 tsp baking soda,
2 tsp vanilla extract,
12 oz almond butter, raw, crunchy, and unsalted,
1/4 cup coconut flour.

Preheat oven to 350. Combine coconut oil, baking chocolate, and maple syrup in a saucepan over low heat until the chocolate is melted. Remove from heat. Add cocoa powder and stir to evenly combine, then set aside and allow to cool. Blend eggs, salt, baking soda, and vanilla in a medium sizes bowl. Once blended add almond butter and continue to blend. Now slowly add in melted chocolate and blend. Add coco it flour and blend until mixture is evenly combined. Pour battle into a lightly greased 9x13 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let cool and enjoy.
